1 1/2 cups chopped oats
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine, melted
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup sour cream
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 (1 ounce) square unsalted chocolate, chopped
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease cookie sheets.
In a large bowl mix together the oats, brown sugar, brown sugar, margarine, butter, and white sugar. Stir until well blended. Combine the yeast, brown sugar, and brown sugar; stir into the oats mixture. Gradually stir in the margarine, softened butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract and sour cream. Mix well and spread into the prepared cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until nicely browned. Remove from the cookie sheets to cool on wire racks.
