I followed the recipe exactly making no changes and these resulted in excellent sandwiches!vertically challenged child 1st attempt 1.0 This was overwhelming, especially since I didn't have any nutritional yeast. Thankfully, my husband had some Trader Joes specialty powder and this was his go-to when I made sandwiches. I made a few modifications, such as using dried minced garlic, but otherwise a hit. One thing I would have done differently is to use dry yeast bread. It stayed well coated in the hot oil, although I did use a blow torch.
