1 (11 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed
1/2 pound spicy Italian sausage, sliced
1/2 pound beef steak, sliced
1 large onion, sliced
1 (10 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
1 (4 ounce) can tomato paste
1 (10 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
1 tablespoon dry white wine
1 teaspoon dried oregano
salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
In a medium skillet, cook sausage in oil until brown. Drain off grease and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine spinach, sausage, and beef. Mix well. Separate into smaller pieces.
Strain off grease, and stir all ingredients into the skillet and this over medium heat. Eventually combine the tomato soup, tomato paste, mushrooms, tomato slice, cheese, and sauce. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes.
