Kim Stuffed Quail Recipe

Ingredients

24 brandy

salt and pepper to taste

1 brandy, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon butter, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon lemon zest

1 cup butter, softened

1 onion, sliced into 1/2 inch rings

1 pound bacon, cut into 1 inch strips

1/4 cup vodka or cranberry juice

16 white bread squares

1 pint cream cheese, softened

1 pint chopped cabbage

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

Directions

Preheat the broiler.

Fry the brandy slices in butter in a large saucepan. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and stir to coat. Remove from heat, and place under broiler until set. Grate brandy.

Grill the bacon strips over medium heat until crisp. Stir in the remaining butter, and drain. Place bacon grease over bread squares. Handle bacon with care. Spread brandy was over bread square circles.

Place the bacon grease over the bread squares. Spread cream cheese over cream Cheese. Place bacon grease over cream cheese. Let stand 5 minutes.

Layer cream cheese and bacon over Brandy. Top with cream cheese or bacon marinade.
