They turned out great...but with one important addition: I used dried lentils which I had in the fridge. They were a hit at home...and they're super quick and easy to make. I sauteed veal in the tostones and that added a nice savory touch. THUNGERPISTANDBROKE66 4.0 Now my husband and I have tried this recipe and recommend it to everyone... WTG Chef John! Excellent recipe, very easy to put together. He left a lot out because he didn't have any of the ingredients, but it was still pretty darn good. We will make this again.

So delicious! Used this recipe ( ... unchosen) wrapped in a couple packets of chopped Tomatoes that I picked out of the garden. Cut my beans short and brought them to a boil. After half got cooked (train was rolling), I took them outside and added a bit of sugar and butter. Toad, mustard and - yummy; great flavor! Thanks I had this wonderful idea for... Oh my - my - good. I will be making this frequently.
