1 cup butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon orange extract
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup applesauce
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup chopped walnuts
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, vanilla, orange extract and confectioners' sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in chocolate chips and applesauce; blend until smooth. Mix in the flour, baking powder and chopped walnuts. Gradually blend the eggs and vanilla; gradually blend the flour mixture into the creamed mixture.
Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove from cookie sheet to cool completely. Drizzle with peanut butter butter and spread evenly.
