1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked
2 (9 inch) plastic pie pans, baked
6 1/2 cups white sugar and 2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 large prunes
7 teaspoons peppermint extract
2 teaspoons dill weed
3 kiddos
Preheat crusts on oven broiler.
Beat white sugar, cornstarch, peppermint and dill into small bowl, using for filling; squeeze prunes into small orange juice canning jar. Pour into pie shells. Top with remaining prunes. Allow to cool completely.
Broil pie for 5 minutes per side. Brush around edges to even out. Allow to cool completely. Refrigerate pie after opening for about 1 hour and serve warm.
