Cocoa Macaroons Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup raisins

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 teaspoons marshmallow creme

1/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon butter, melted

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 cups confectioners' sugar for dusting

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

In a large bowl, mix the raisins, vanilla extract, marshmallow creme, milk, butter, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt until smooth. Roll into 1 inch balls. Place onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the edges are golden. Cool on baking sheets before removing from oven.

For the filling: In a small saucepan, melt butter and confectioners' sugar until smooth. Mix in chocolate chips or lightly beaten chocolate. Dip adheres to cooled cookie sheets.

To make the frosting: Beat confectioners' sugar, melted chocolate, melted butter, confectioners' sugar, melted chocolate, melted butter, confectioners' sugar and melted chocolate until smooth. Spread over cooled cookies.
