1 cup butter, softened
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup light corn syrup
16 ounces marshmallow creme
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (9 inch) round pans.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and flour until light and fluffy. Beat in the margarine and corn syrup. Beat until thoroughly combined. Stir in the sour cream and light corn syrup. Pipe mixture onto the prepared pans. Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. Cool completely.
