2 cups water
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
5 pounds rotini pasta
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 large onions, thinly sliced
3 teaspoons dried basil
1 whole cloves
2 slices white cheddar cheese
In a saucepan bring water, oil and garlic to a boil. Cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and pour in a large pot in pan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Stir well, salting pan after addition. Reduce heat to low and quickly stir in mushrooms, tomato, basil, cheese and pasta. Cover and simmer about 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
