2 eggs
3/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon butter, softened
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 tablespoon butter, softened
2 tablespoons shortening
3 cups crumbled semisweet chocolate
Beat eggs, milk, baking soda and salt in small bowl until fluffy. Stir eggs mixture into 1/2 pound of jam by pressing at bottom of pan with wooden spoon.
Bake in preheated oven for 50 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate. Pour chocolate filling over eggs and bake for 1 hour.
