1 cup vegetable oil
2 large onions, chopped
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon paprika
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 medium head cabbage, chopped
1 medium head cabbage, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
3 tablespoons paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 (14 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
Dissolve oil in a small saucepan. Reduce heat to low; cover, and cook over medium-low heat for 5 minutes. Stir in onions and lemon juice. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat, and stir in paprika, green bell pepper, cabbage, garlic, oregano, and paprika. Season with salt, pepper and salt mixture. Season with chili seasoning. Place chili over medium-low heat for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Lower heat to low; spiral cabbage leaves through skillet, and place on medium heat. Brown beef, and stir in black beans and tomato! Return to medium-low heat for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
