1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 1/2 cups chopped onion
1 1/2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 cup milk
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1/4 cup milk
salt and pepper to taste
Bring a large saucepan of water and pepper to a boil. Add cheese and stir until melted. Remove from heat. Let cool slightly.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C.). Grease and flour a 10x15 inch baking dish.
Spread sliced cheese over the top of a large baking dish. Sprinkle cream cheese on top of cheese and pour milk and vinegar over cream cheese. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove cheese from oven. Cool cheese completely before cutting into serving portions.
