1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 pound lean beef roast
1 onion, cut into 2 wedges
1 1/2 tablespoons ketchup
1 cup chopped celery
1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon prepared chives
In a small bowl, mix the oil, garlic powder, beef roast, onion, ketchup, celery, horseradish, salt, dill, rosemary, marjoram and basil. Shape mixture into a gravy. Serve with hot bread sandwiches.
