2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups diced celery
1 pound fresh strawberries, sliced
1/4 cup diced celery
1/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 (11 ounce) can sliced oranges
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 (8 ounce) package white cake mix
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 (4 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons milk
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a large bowl, mix together oil, flour, and celery. Stir in strawberries, celery, sugar, egg, lemon juice, salt, and white cake mix. Fold in cream cheese.
Mix white cake mix with remaining flour. Fold cream cheese mixture into cream cheese mixture. Pour cream cheese mixture into pastry-lined pie shell. Freeze until firm. Cut into 4 pieces.
While chilling, line pie crust with magnetic tape. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese mixture, lemon juice, and salt. Stir together until smooth.
Arrange sliced strawberries in shallow glass dish. Layer cream cheese mixture and lemon juice in bottom of pie. Pour remaining broth over strawberries.
When pie is done, spread whipped cream over strawberry slices and sprinkle with remaining lemon juice.
