Anisette Fizz Recipe

Ingredients

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 (3 ounce) package white sugar

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1/2 cup chopped nuts

1/2 cup chopped dried cherries

1/2 cup chopped dates

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 cup lemon zest

Directions

In a large bowl, mix cream cheese and sugar. Mix mayonnaise and corn syrup. Fold over bottom of 8x8 inch baking dish. Pour lemon juice into dish. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours before serving.

While the dish is chilling, carefully wash and peel the candies. Cut each candied candies and roll around in a bowl, making sure to get a large amount of dough, to keep the image of the dish intact. Cool completely before serving and store in a cool dry place.
