1/2 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
6 eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cups milk
1 (9 inch) prepared chocolate cookie crumb crust
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (9 inch) round pans.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, eggs, flour, baking soda and vanilla until smooth. Beat in the milk, then stir in the flour mixture. Beat in the chocolate chips. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool slightly before removing from pan. Allow to cool completely.
