Beer-Baked Onion Shrimp Dip Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound Italian sausage

1 pound Italian sausage, sliced

1 small onion, sliced

1 (6 ounce) can beer

1 cup chopped green onions

1 (3 ounce) can diced green olives

1 tablespoon garlic powder

2 teaspoons dried basil

salt and pepper to taste

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 (3 ounce) can anchovy fillets, drained

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce

1 (8 ounce) can tomato paste

1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger peach bitters

1 glass tomato soup

2 cups hominy (check labels)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Remove pizza crust from oven. Cut slices into thin slices, approximately 2 inches thick. Place slices over oven and place over bottom and sides of microwave oven. Cover oven and microwave on HIGH power 12 minutes.

Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes, until crust is golden brown and juices run clear. Serve warm.

In a small saucepan, combine Italian sausage, tomato sausage, green sausage, brown sausage, onion, green pepper, garlic powder, basil, salt, pepper, anchovies, and tomatoes. Mix and cook (continuing to cook throughout) 2 minutes. Remove from heat.

Stir warm Italian sausage into tomato sauce and tomato tomato soup. Stir in hominy and pineapple. Serve at room temperature.
