1 cup shortening
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a large bowl, cream together shortening and white sugar until smooth. Beat in egg until well blended. Stir in vegetable oil, brown sugar, flour, butter, peanut butter, and chocolate chips. Mix together. Drop by teaspoons onto the cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
