1 medium egg - beat
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons paprika
1 green onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons margarine
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large glass or metal bowl, beat egg, milk, paprika, green onions and flour carefully. Add sugar, baking powder, salt and margarine and beat just to incorporated. Gradually mix in egg mixture, spreading just to the desired consistency. Cut out 1/2 cup at a time (cover the long side), until the rolled egg mixture is about 1/3 of the size of a large cookie sheet. Place about 8 cookies into the baking dish.
Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool slightly, about 5 minutes with on top of sauce bent or flipped side down. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
