2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
3 tablespoons orange juice
2 teaspoons dried marjoram
2 cups chicken broth
2 cups chopped onion
1 tablespoon liquid smoke flavoring
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon white sugar
Place olive oil and garlic in a large heavy skillet. Add orange juice, marjoram, chicken broth, onion and liquid smoke flavoring; cook over medium high heat for about 10 minutes. Mix together and heat until all ingredients are thoroughly combined and half way up sides of skillet. Stir in chicken. Return to a simmer, increase heat to medium and cook until slightly browned. Remove chicken to a medium saucepan.
Add orange juice mixture and liquid smoke flavoring to skillet. Stir constantly and add thyme, rosemary, salt, sugar and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 5 to 6 minutes.
