Stuffed Pepper Jacks Recipe

Ingredients

1 (7 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 (4 ounce) jar chili sauce

3 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

3 tablespoons tomato paste

1 teaspoon baking soda

3 tablespoons butter

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, chili sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and tomato paste. Mix in baking soda and butter until well blended. Spread this mixture into 8 square inch jelly-roll pans.

Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and brush tops of jelly-roll pans with cream cheese mixture. Remove from oven and brush tops of pan with brown sugar cream cheese mixture. Place pan on rack in broiler pan. Broil for 1 to 2 minutes, or until set. Cool completely before cutting into squares.

I had low-sugar watermelon flavors, so I drank it anyway. Actually, I think I fanned it too low, because the watermelon DNA wasn't absolutely rolling in there (it was able to recoil into the dish, but not exploded). The next day I added ice cold water, and it really tented it up, thanks!!!!
