Sprinkle Chocolate on Fruit Recipe

Ingredients

1 (15 ounce) can pitted dates

1 3/4 cups packed light brown sugar

1/2 cup butter

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Cut dates into pieces and arrange them on fruit. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator.

In a medium bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar until smooth. Stir in the flour, baking powder and light brown sugar. Mix in the dates and mix until smooth, then fold in the vanilla extract. Pour mixture into a large bowl and smooth in the remaining 2/3 cup of sugar. Chill out and serve.
