2 (16 ounce) cans chili with tomato
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 tablespoons chili powder
1 cup water
1 (28 ounce) can tomato juice concentrate
2 tablespoons ground black pepper
3/4 pound lean ground beef
In a large saucepan over medium heat, heat 2 cans of tomato broth, stirring constantly. When tomatoes are thoroughly heated, pour in 2 cans of chicken broth. When tomatoes are completely heated, pour in 3 cans tomato juice concentrate, stirring constantly until juice is melted.
Prepare chili according to package directions for medium-low heat and stir in 1 1/4 cup chili powder. Return to a slow simmer for a few minutes and allow to cool.
Place beef in a large skillet. Place tomato sauce over medium heat. Cook and stir 5 minutes. Cook and stir 2 minutes more.
Stir chili sauce into beef and tomato sauce. Cook about 5 minutes more.
