3 red potatoes, cut into 1/3 inch slices
1 small onion, sliced into rings
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup white sugar
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup vegetable oil
In a medium bowl, mix together the red potatoes, onion, soy sauce, oil and sugar. Mix in the celery and bell pepper.
Heat a large colander or large resealable plastic bag in hot water to a boil, and place potatoes and onion in the water. Boil uncovered for 2 minutes. Drain, cool and peel.
In a large resealable plastic bag, mix chopped celery, green pepper and oil. Pour into the potato and onion bag and squeeze to coat. Seal bag and shake to coat. Freeze until firm. Roll into 1 inch balls and roll in celery mixture to keep covered.
