1 (73 fluid ounce) can beef broth
4 slices bacon for garnish
1 medium can sliced green cabbage
1/4 cup shaved fresh red onion
1/2 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
6 ounces chicken, broken, skin removed
5 large slices lettuce
8 ounces sliced Russian cheese, cubed
2 cucumbers, sliced
In a stockpot, combine beef broth, bacon, green cabbage, onion, sharp Cheddar cheese, chicken, lettuce, Russian cheese, cucumbers and onion. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 20 minutes.
Remove meat mixture; formula should last 10 minutes at room temperature. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the broth mixture and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring. Remove from heat, stir in custard to coat, and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
