1 cup white sugar
1 cup coffee flavored liqueur
1 cup water
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups milk
2 1/4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
In a small saucepan, mix sugar, coffee liqueur, water and shortening. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Slowly pour in milk and chocolate chips. Heat to boiling and continue stirring.
