1 cup loosely packed dried sweet potatoes, quartered
1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed (optional)
2 cups dry mashed sweet potatoes
2 cups milk
1/3 cup white sugar
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
In a medium saucepan bring water to a boil. Stir in sweet potatoes and whipped topping mix. Cook 25 to 45 minutes, or until tender and almost completely cooled. Keep serving cold.
