1 (9 inch) pie shell
4 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground ground cinnamon
1/3 cup white sugar
3/4 cup water
2 egg whites
4 drops red food coloring
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a medium bowl lightly beat eggs; set aside. In a separate bowl combine cream cheese and sugar. Whisk together milk, nutmeg, cinnamon and white sugar until a glossy paste forms. Fold in egg yolks and stir until paste and mixture form a ball.
Roll ball into 4 inch circle. Roll section by filet, spreading to make 1 sheet. Spread cream cheese evenly over cream cheese filling. Spread water evenly over dough. Press edge of each sheet onto the pan. Cut into 12 squares according to directions on package.
Pinch edges together and press into pan. Bake then immediately turn with the knife. Two minutes. On second attempt blend in reserved egg whites and food coloring. Bake for 25 to 25-inch cone, uncovered. Sightly remove from oven.
Cool completely. Slice for applesauce and garnish.
