Easy Egg Inserts Recipe

Ingredients

1 egg

1 tomato

1 onion, cut into small wedges

2 cups shredded cabbage

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

6 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

1 (4 ounce) can chicken bouillon

1 (8 ounce) container sour cream

4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

2 (17.5 ounce) packages frozen mixed dessert fruit cubes

Directions

Combine egg and tomato in large bowl. Mix, then toss egg whites with remaining tomato juice and egg yolks, then spoon into plastic bag; transfer to food, filling and tossing until all ingredients are in place. The instructions are good but there is one problem with this recipe...the eggs. After cooking, the whites separate and separate again, but do not turn over. After 4 hours they are VERY dark chocolate colored—almost purer chocolate. I thinned the milk (and sugar) to make it less chocolatey and still produced the desired outcome. I continue to wonder if baking eggs could be simplified by simply dividing the batter you get to work with in a one egg, one bowl, and then adding some cottage cheese and butter? ...
