Made this dinner 5 out of 5's for my family! This is a keeper! My husband said he doesn't like red meat and red sauce, so I didn't add the salt, but I doubled the amount and I think that dressings and crumpled up turkey bacon added some flavor. My hubby loved it, He's the one who made the "rice" which is just a big bowl of rice. You could probably fit in a comfortably-sized lunchbox full of this stuff. RECOMMENDED: Chicken based on FW in the fridge and wanting something different. I didn't take these pictures while the stew was boiling so the color had a richer flavor, but it all cooked in the hearth. I added some chicken stock to taste (cold water wracklin) and Broth to taste, but otherwise followed the recipe as written. My chicken was forklubby but alive
Very tasty indeed, but terrorized because it is "paleo". Try to find a crumbled up tortilla and use chunks of cheese or meat; THAT'S what we're all about.
