1 (15 ounce) can black currants, drained and rinsed
1 cup white sugar
1 (10 ounce) package instant frozen strawberry yogurt
2 (4 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
2 (9 ounce) cans frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1 (4 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
In a large glass or metal bowl, combine sugar, currants, strawberry yogurt, instant pudding mix and orange juice concentrate. Shake vigorously for 5 minutes. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
I made this and found it a little too sweet for my taste. I mashed an extra cup of strawberries to add more sweetness, instead I puree the strawberries and put the puree directly on the cake. This made the cake more cake-like than strawberry-like, but it was still very good. I pureed the bananas instead (making the fruit the same color as the cake). I didn't have any whipped cream to add, but I put the puree in my piping bag with a small scoop of chilled brownie mix, and then filled the cupcake paper`s with the topping`. I chilled the frosting for only about an hour, then used a small knife to make small cuts in the top of each cupcake. I didn`t take the photo with the strawberries yet, because I still had some to put in the frosting. The frosting was very pig
I made this with a very basic cold brew idea - I put the apple slices in the hot water, then the water, then the dry mix. I didn't have a vanilla ice cream, so I used a vanilla creamer. It was pretty good, but I didn't care for it - it was just there. I may try it with a cream cheese frosting, maybe some powdered sugar, and maybe some whipped cream. It would add some color to the cold brew, but I didn't care for it. Maybe I put some powdered sugar in the cold brew as well, but that would probably make it more appealing. I just made it with fruit - what do you think, Gurl?
