Oatmeal White Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients

3 eggs

1 cup vegetable oil

1 cup white sugar

2 1/2 cups brown sugar

1 cup packed light brown sugar

1/2 cup vegetable oil

3 cups milk

1 cup buttermilk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.

In a large bowl, beat eggs until frothy. Stirring constantly, beat until blended. Gradually beat in oil, brown sugar and brown sugar; mix well. Stir in milk and buttermilk. Combine brown sugar and oil

Beat egg mixture into sponge cake batter.

Bake in preheated oven for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted halfway into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool.

To make the frosting: Beat together sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in milk and buttermilk. Beat in vanilla extract. Place cake in the top rack of the oven to warm. Cool completely, remove from pan, and place on a wire rack.
