1 (8 ounce) package cold pasta sauce
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 small onion, sliced into rings
1 medium head garlic, sliced into 1/2 inch slices
1 small green bell pepper, sliced into strips
1 bunch fresh broccoli florets, ends trimmed
handful chopped fresh mushrooms
1 medium tomato, seeded and sliced
salt and pepper to taste
In a medium saucepan, heat oil over low heat, and cook onion, garlic, and green bell pepper in oil until tender. Add pasta sauce, green pepper strips, broccoli, mushrooms, tomato, olives, and salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly. Reduce heat to medium low, cover, and simmer for about 45 minutes.
