1 cup butter
1/4 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 (16 ounce) package rolled chocolate candy
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter an 8x8 inch baking pan.
In a medium saucepan, combine butter, shortening, and brown sugar and melt; stir at high heat until smooth. In a separate saucepan, combine cocoa, chocolate and candy and cook until smooth; stir vigorously until smooth.
Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls on prepared pan. Press center of each cookie into waxed paper or parchment paper to match. Chill at least 30 minutes.
Remove from cooling pan and chill at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
