1 cup chopped celery
2 tablespoons minced onion
1 tablespoon celery seed
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon drained white wine
1/3 cup milk
1 pinch salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup chopped fresh parsley
In a medium saucepan, combine the celery, onion, garlic, wine, milk, salt, pepper, parsley and celery seed. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 30 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in the white wine. Pour into a small bowl. Refrigerate overnight.
