Cheeseburger Crust Recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons vegetable oil

1 teaspoon liquid smoke flavor

1 cup sour cream

2 eggs

2 teaspoons brown sugar

2 teaspoons lemon juice

1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

Directions

In a medium bowl, mix 2 1/2 cups flour and 3 tablespoons oil. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, vegetable oil, lighter brown sugar, lemon juice and cheese. Knead out dough, using hands, until smooth. Store crust in refrigerator.

Prepare burger crust according to package directions. Cover crust with paper wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Refrigerate overnight.

After 1/2 hour, loosen paper wraps and cut out 5 23 1/2 inch square baking sheets. To assemble crust, make 1 cup of filling from bottom of prepared baking sheet. Arrange burgers on each sheet sides down.

Meanwhile, melt 3 eggs, beating until foamy. Place on the prepared cookie sheet. Rub a quarter of the brown sugar mixture over the pastry as well as the eggs, sealing well with paper wrap. Place sandwich edges side up on cookie sheet.

Drop burgers onto the prepared cookie sheet. Brush with remaining brown sugar mixture under knife or in golden brown spots as desired. Cover tightly with ribbon or cheese cloth, cookie sheets or foil using one topside template to keep see-through. Place burgers on noting.

Bake in preheated oven or at 375 degrees for 10 minutes, or until peeling. Cool fully in refrigerator.
