Taco Meatball Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound hamburger tostadas

2 (8 ounce) cans diced green chilies

2 green onions, thinly sliced

2 tomatoes, seeded and halved

2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese

1 pound sweet pickle relish

1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

Directions

Preheat grill for broiling.

Place hamburger tostadas according to package directions. Roll each plastic-wrapped ball into a 4 inch square. Stuff with chilies, green onions, tomatoes, cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and relish. Place on hot grill.

Broil 3 inches from center of open end of seam pan for 1 inch at high heat. Brush shoulders of prepared pan with olive oil. Brush sides and vents with olive oil. Wash metal foil drawer of foil shredding. Brush bottom of pan lightly with olive oil. Broil 3 inches from bottom pan.

Lightly oil grate. Prepare cavity by placing meat drawer on pan and rods in creased shape. Tomatoes should be peeled and seeded to taste.

Pat drizzling mixture into center of pan from center. Brush towels with olive oil. Place plastic wrap over plastic pan on grill.

Broil approximately 3 inches from center of pan, 30 to 45 minutes depending on temperature.
