1 1/2 cups butter, room temperature
1 1/2 cups golden raisins
3 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups applesauce
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, golden raisins, eggs, vanilla and applesauce. Beat in the cornstarch and baking soda. Mix well.
Spread batter into a 9x13 inch pan. Bake in preheated oven until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
Turn onto a platter and serve hot.
