1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 pound ground turkey
1 medium onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons chili powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon white sugar
3 (8 ounce) cans tomato paste
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Heat oil in a large, heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Brown turkey in oil and onion in oil. Add garlic, chili powder, salt, pepper and salt and pepper to taste. Reduce heat to low; cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes, turning almost constantly, for 1 to 2 minutes.
Reduce heat to medium-low. Add turkey, onion, garlic, chili powder, salt, pepper and sugar. Sprinkle with tomato paste. Stir just until turkey is cooked through and golden.
