1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked
3/4 cup cold water
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 pinch ground nutmeg
1 cup butter, melted
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9 inch round pans. In a large bowl, combine water, sugar, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, 1 cup butter and pecans; mix together. Pour mixture into prepared pans.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until set. Cool completely before transferring to cool completely on wire rack. Keep chilled in refrigerator.
