2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 medium head cabbage, washed and cut into 1 inch pieces
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 (18 ounce) can whole black beans, drained
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2 cups cooked kidney beans
1 (10 ounce) can tomatoes with green chile peppers
2 cups cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cups cooked oysters
2 cups water
1 (7 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
3/4 cup chopped green onions
In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Stir in the onion and bay leaf. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil and cook for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add the cabbage, toss, and add chopped, cooked or partially cooked peppers, bell peppers, kidney beans, tomatoes, shrimp and oysters. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes. Stirring well, pour over pasta while still warm. Heat through.
