4 slices bacon, diced
1 teaspoon onion salt
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 pound shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 piece hot dog, diced
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Place bacon in a large skillet over medium high heat. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain and crumble into a large bowl, breaking up pieces. This will be a large sausage so you may want to use a larger spoon to get multiple bites.
Place onion salt and oregano over medium heat in a large saucepan and add partially cooked bacon. Cook until brown, about 2 minutes.
In a medium bowl, mix the brown sugar, Cheddar cheese, and bacon bits, stirring constantly. Add a splash of water if necessary to stop the sausage from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
Stir in the barbecue sauce mixture, hot dog, Cheddar cheese, sour cream, and hot dogs. Drop size of each bean into the pan to make 4 - 2 inch compartments.
Cover loosely with plastic wrap and bake for 55 minutes in the preheated oven. Serve with crackers or tortillas.
