1/4 cup baby food
1 dash dried dill weed
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
1 (6 ounce) jar maraschino cherries, drained
1 quart tomato juice
1 (6 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice, drained
In a small bowl, mix baby food, dill weed, vanilla extract, salt and lemon extract; set aside.
Drain cherries, and mix with tomato juice in a shallow glass of ice. Stir with a wooden spoon until the mixture is thickened and creamy. Chill in refrigerator.
In a small bowl, mix cherry preserves with maraschino cherry juice, and arrange over cherry layers. Serve over cherry ice.
