1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup margarine, softened
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Heat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a large bowl, cream together the white sugar, brown sugar, oil and vanilla until smooth. Beat in the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and baking powder; stir into the creamed mixture alternately with the margarine. Stir in the rolled oats and pecans. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until edges are golden. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
