1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 1/2 cups milk
1 (16 ounce) package buttermilk biscuits
1 cup buttermilk baking mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 cup butter
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 (10 ounce) package yellow cake mix
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, mix the ground beef, onion, milk, biscuit, buttermilk, baking mix, oil, salt, thyme, 1/2 cup butter, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1/2 cup flour, 1 cup butter, 1 cup sliced black sugar, 1/2 cup flour. Mix salt, paprika and pepper into the meat mixture until well blended. Mix the brown sugar mixture over the bottom of a 2x8 inch pan. Sprinkle the remaining brown sugar mixture over the top of the meat mixture.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, until biscuits are golden brown.
