1/2 cup lean Italian sausage
1/3 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons chopped green bell pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1 green bell pepper, diced
2 cups fresh spinach
1 banana, sliced into 1/2 square
4 pimento peppers, seeded and diced
1 1/3 cups sliced mushrooms
1/3 cup Italian salad greens
Place the sausage, onion, peppers, spinach and banana into a large bowl and coat well. Cover, and refrigerate overnight.
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate. Place the gnocchi, tomato slices, mushrooms, Caesar salad greens and tomatoes on the prepared grill. Cook over high heat for 10 minutes, turning every 5 minutes. Fill gnocchi with tomato mixture and serve.
