1 1/2 cups margarine, chilled
6 tablespoons white sugar
3/4 cup pumpkin puree
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
Mix together margarine and 6 tablespoons sugar. Spread 1/4 cup pumpkin filling over the top of a cookie sheet. Brush edges of cookies with margarine grease before placing on cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 8 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. Sprinkle with pumpkin puree.
