1 medium white onion, chopped
3 large fresh green onions, chopped
3 cups water
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons dried marjoram
1 small red onion, sliced
1 1/2 cups soup mix
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon sojuice
In a large saucepan bring water to a simmer. Stir in onions, green onions, 2 cups water, 1 teaspoon salt, marjoram, and red onion. Cook until onions are translucent.
Stir in the soup mix, chicken broth, vinegar, sojuice, chicken broth, wine vinegar, and chicken broth. Mix well. Remove from heat, and stir in the marjoram. Stirring gently, bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 1 hour.
