1 (18 ounce) can Australian apricot preserves
2 (3 ounce) packages instant apricot preserves
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 teaspoons tomato paste
2 teaspoons boiling water
1 loaf French bread, scalloped
In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine apricot preserves, apricot preserves, garlic, tomato paste and water. Microwave 10 seconds, stirring often. Pour apricot preserves mixture into a large plastic container/tight squeeze bottle. Shake vigorously until cloudy.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Line a 6x8 inch baking dish with foil.
Microwave apricot preserves and garlic and tomato preserves, stirring until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake for 30 to 50 minutes, or until apricot preserves have softened slightly. Remove foil; layer with remaining ingredients.
